On March 31, the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau accepted the donation of  police cars  from Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. The donation ceremony was held in the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau. Fu Zhenghua and Gao Yu ,both of whom are the deputy director-general  of  the Beijing Municipal  Public Security Bureau, attended the ceremony. The relevant leaders of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., attended the donation ceremony together with the police representatives.

   At the donation ceremony, minister Sasaki Showahon of Toyota Motor Corporation expressed  the heartfelt respect to the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau for its  striving for the goal of "Safe Olympics",  implementing the working ideas of "the overall prevention &control, precise guidance and exact  striking" and  exploring  new policing  model of the capital, and for the bureau’s efforts to build a harmonious society  and  the top friendly-region, and for the contributions to maintain the stability of social order .The minister said that in the future his company would continue to vigorously support the work of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau.

   The Leader of the Beijing Municipal  Public Security Bureau in the speech expressed his thanks for the strong support of the Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. to the capital's public security work and pointed out that in recent years the equipment level of motor vehicles of the Beijing Municipal  Public Security Bureau had been greatly improved  because of the strong support from the  financial departments at all levels  and of help from all sectors of the society .Meanwhile, the quantity and quality of vehicles had been substantially increased, which could effectively ensure the successful completion of missions. The vehicles donated this time will also play an important role in the work. 

   It is said that Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. has donated 16 cars worth about 600 million Yuan RMB in total, including four car models such as the Royal Crown, Toyota Camry, Lexus ,etc. The donated cars will be given to the relevant departments under the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau  for practical use , five cars of which will be changed into police cars by spraying paint and all of the cars will be put into use at the forefront of the daily patrolling.
